About the event
TAP-SD is a proud community partner for the San Diego Asian Film Festival’s (SDAFF) screening of Yen and Ai-Lee. SDAFF is presented by the Pacific Arts Movement, whose mission is to present Asian and Asian American Pacific Islander media arts to San Diego residents and visitors in order to inspire, entertain, and support a more compassionate society.Â

Synopsis: Ai-Lee is a walking enigma trying out acting lessons. After serving eight years in prison for the manslaughter of her abusive father, Yen returns to her suburban hometown. Yen and Ai-Lee look identical. When their shared secret is revealed, will Yen and her mother outrun their fate? Watch here
