Want to know what it’s like to be on Shark Tank? Come enjoy some hors d’oeuvres and learn what it’s like to pitch to the Sharks from one of our speakers as we partner with New York Life Insurance to bring you a special professional event focused on leadership and entrepreneurism.

Speaker Bios:

Dan Rothweil

After an Honorable Discharge from the US Navy, Dan pursued his BSEE degree from San Diego State University. After graduation Dan worked for Rohr Industries designing power and control systems. He went on to General Atomics Fusion Research Facility starting off as an engineer and then advancing to Lead Engineer of the Power Systems group. Here Dan published a paper on transferring RF Energy to Heat Plasma. From GA Dan went on to Cymer Laser where he was responsible for pulsed power designs and studies. Dan was promoted to manage engineering project teams and product development programs. Dan is associated with nine Cymer patents and received his Master Degree in Executive Leadership from the University of San Diego while working at Cymer. In 2004 Dan left Cymer and started D-Squared Product Development. As President of D-Squared Dan manages his own product designs as well as those for others. He has international program management experience in both engineering and manufacturing. In 2009 Dan started The Fair Guy’s to grow direct sales channels for his associated products. David Beezer

David Beezer is currently the Director of Development and Athletics at Christian Unified Schools. David’s strong work ethic, coupled with business background and leadership skills afforded him the opportunity to quickly climb the corporate later before taking his current position representing a non-profit organization in advancement. In addition to his leadership in development, David also serves as the Director of Athletics for one of the most successful secondary school athletic programs in San Diego County. Although successful in these responsibilities, he is most well-known in San Diego as Coach Beezer. With a background coaching Division I college football, David took that experience to the high school level with his teams’ winning 8 CIF Championships and a career 32-5 record in CIF playoff and championship games (against some of the largest schools in the county).

Parking: NY Life Insurance has arranged for the garage parking that serves 4365 to be covered. Just park and take a ticket, and vouchers will be provided at the event. Exit the garage using the ramp at the plaza level, then enter the building to the right of the ramp.
